Viadrina, with its three faculties – Social and Cultural Sciences, Law, and Business Administration and Economics – is a comparatively small university, which make an education with a personal atmosphere possible. No knowledge of German is required at the beginning of the course. Foreign students who have not proved their ability to study in German Language are required to take German as a foreign language. If you wish to apply for a higher semester, you must have the following knowledge of German:
for the 2nd semester = CEFR Level A1,
for the 3rd semester = CEFR Level A2,
for the 4th semester = CEFR Level B1,
from the 5th semester = CEFR Level B2.
- Those who wish to successfully completely a degree in economics should additionally bring along:
- Interest in economic issues,
- Courage both to live and work independently and as part of an international team,
- Ambition and will, abstact and logical thinking and
- good mathematical knowledge.
